We are a student chapter of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics based at two universities: The University of Texas at Dallas and Southern Methodist University. We provide resources and opportunities for members to enhance their professional development, such as workshops on soft skills, technical skills, and internships. We provide a platform for mathematicians, scientists, and engineers to connect and collaborate. SIAM also supports students pursuing careers in applied mathematics by offering scholarships, organizing student conferences, and providing mentorship opportunities.We are open to both graduate and undergraduate students.
